HOUSE CLEANING TASK LIST
To give you an idea of what is included in a typical house cleaning visit, here is a list of the tasks we usually perform. This list can be modified as required to meet your home cleaning needs.
Living Areas
- Vacuum all carpeted floors
- Vacuum and wash all hard-surfaced floors
- Dust all flat surfaces, pictures, and loose objects
- Clean all mirrors, windowsills, baseboards, doors (including trim and frames), light switches, ceiling fans, and light fixtures
- Vacuum upholstery and under cushions
- Empty garbage
- Make beds, tidy rooms, and dust blinds (upon request)
Bathrooms
- Scrub sink and bathtub
- Polish chrome
- Clean shower walls, glass doors (including tracking), counter tops, mirrors, cupboards, windowsills, baseboards, doors (including trim and frames), light switches, ceiling fans, and light fixtures
- Scrub and sanitize toilets
- Clean behind the toilet and along the wall
- Dust pictures and loose objects
- Remove cobwebs
- Wipe soap dish and toothbrush holder
- Vacuum and wash floors
- Empty garbage
Kitchen
- Clean exterior of all appliances, cabinets, and countertops
- Wipe the inside of the microwave
- Scrub and sanitize the sink
- Polish chrome
- Wipe windows, windowsills, and back tiles
- Wash and/or dust blinds, ceiling fans, light fixtures, light switches, stove hood, tables, and chairs
- Remove cobwebs
- Wipe baseboards
- Vacuum and wash floor
